My Current Favorite Blushes 2016

 Hello girls,
 How you all doin?
Today I'm talking about my all time favorite/current blushes.
Summer is so on us, and some countries loving it with warmth and beaches, and some just feel blissful to be indoors with our Air-Conditioning, lol

In anyways any country, any face, any skin loves these blushes and so do I..
So here i have listed here my fav fav blushes..

1. NARS Orgasm Blush (all all time favorite)
Description: Peachy Pink with Gold Shimmer.
Its a universal flattering shade, can be used on any skin tone.
It is simply the most beautiful shade ever!

2. Milani Baked Blush - 06 Bellissimo Bronze
This blush just gives you that sunkissed look, when glides on skin mostly feels like it highlights, blush and contours all at the same time..
If used light-handed can be very sheer but its buildable too.

3. MAC Mineralize Blush - Dainty
This pretty pale pink mineralize blush has become my recent favorite as its so light-weight and sheer with such natural finish of tiny pearl sheen.

4. NYX Powder Blush - PB12 TerraCotta
Terracotta blush with shimmery rose-gold finish, almost looks like a highlight.
Its been my favorite for years now.

5. Sleek Blush - 922 Life's a Peach
This beautiful coral shade is perfect for summer days.
Its definitely buildable to your desired color we want, I use it for summer day looks. (Not as pigmented as they claim)

I hope you all love them too..

5 Best Concealers Ever!!

Hi Girlies!!

Eid Al-Fitr Mubarak! Hope you all had an amazing time with your family and friends...

Ramadan and Eid kept me busy, but without any delay - Here are the best products to hide those tired eyes!!

Best Under Eye Concealers!!

Bobbi Brown Corrector and Concealer

This peach tinted concealer is perfect for dark circles under the eyes as it counteracts the blueness (orange/peach is the opposite of blue on the color  wheel, therefore the colors balance each other out). Correctors work differently than traditional concealers in that they are colored- specifically for correcting a specific issue (ie blueness under the eyes looking like dark shadows or circles). The gel like consistency is perfect for under the eyes. It won’t cake up or look too dry. It glides easily, isn’t too thick, and covers extremely well.

To apply I simply take my ring finger and swipe the smallest amount under my eyes before I apply my foundation. If you don’t wear foundation, then you will simply need a color close to your skin which is not peach, As the Bobbi Brown Concealer Kit, you will love every bit of using this product.

Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat
Even though this is actually claimed to be a “skin brightener”, but it works well as just a plain ole’ concealer. ;) I use this under the eyes, BUT I apply after my foundation. You do not need this in addition to correctors, as you don’t want to apply too much product, especially under the delicate eye area.
The consistency of this is a bit creamy versus a gel, but it isn’t so thick to where it emphasizes any wrinkles or crevices. If you don’t have bad dark circles, then this should be plenty coverage for you.  I suggest getting a shade lighter than your skin to help brighten up the area.
To apply, gently sweep this under the eyes after applying foundation. Or you can apply straight to bare skin if you wish to skip foundation, just be sure to blend really well.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer
This is without doubt the best drugstore concealer ever! This comes in a tube and has a wand much like a lipgloss would. It’s easy to apply and blends into the skin smoothly and evenly. It’s a thin, liquid formula that covers and hides imperfections incredibly well. It also hides dark under eye circles, no problem. This concealer is available in 6 different shades catering for either pink or yellow undertones. The best way to apply this is to sweep it under the eyes or around the nose where you need it and blend it with either your ring finger or concealer brush.
This has a smooth formula and doesn't get at all cakey. It does have a slight smell but is nothing offensive or too harsh. I find this is a great dupe for the YSL Touche Éclat. This is ideal for those days when you don’t want to wear a full face of foundation but still want to cover any darkness or imperfections you may have.

Best Concealers for Blemishes!!
MAC Studio Finish Concealer
The difference between undereye concealers and blemish concealers is simply the texture: concealers that work best on blemishes have a thicker, creamier texture. I love this MAC one as it covers incredibly well and doesn’t look cakey like some cream concealers can. It comes in a convenient little pot which is great for travel, and it is available in a variety of different shades.

Makeup For Ever Camouflage Cream
This palette was my first love for concealers! I love how well it covers the blemishes and how it doesn’t get cakey. The texture is almost exactly like MAC’s Studio Finish, but it includes 5 shades in one sleek palette, perfect for custom blending.
To apply, I dab my finger (clean finger *cough cough*) into the concealer and dab over the blemish. Do NOT swipe as it will streak instead of covering the blemish, especially if it is raised.
If you need just a little coverage under the eyes, this could work, but be sure to apply with a concealer brush so you get a super thin layer.

Let me what you think about these products in the comments section below!

3 Simple Ways To Fight Acne During Pregnancy

Hi Ladies!!
Today I was at the Launch event of the Fa Floral Protect (chk my blog for more info) and I met this sweet person named Chandni, she's a Lifestyle blogger... So alongwith our sweet chat, she shared something amazing about her; She's expecting for the most beautiful moment in her life!
Pregnancy is a time when every woman’s life changes. The transformations are both internal and external. The external changes include acne and pimples on face. That was one of her concerns, and she did ask me for tips that could help her...We all usually do anything and everything under the sun to get rid of those acne on our skin - usually creams, gels, ointment containing salicylic acid, but during pregnancy the story changes completely.. you can't do half of the things you could do before;;; I have seen my sister goin thru her pregnancy, and believe me - it scared the hell out of me!!!!  Anyways getting back to the topic; this blog is about some FAQ's about skincare and How to get rid of Acne during pregnancy in an absolutely harmless way:
These are some of the exact queries of expectant women.

Who will be more prone to acne and pimples during pregnancy?

Well, we must admit that one woman in every two women suffer from varied levels of acne during pregnancy. While many experience mild pimples during their pregnancy, few undergo much more complex problems. Those with a history of pimples and acne will be more prone to acne and pimples during this period.

Which is the time when one may have pimples during pregnancy?

Usually pimples or acne happen during the first trimester which usually disappears within the third trimester. If you do not get pimples in the first trimester, it is very rare that you will get them in the next two trimesters. Usually in the first trimester, the body goes through a lot of changes like hormone imbalance which gives rise to acne problem.

What causes pimples and acne during pregnancy?

Well, hormones are usually the main cause for pimples and acne. First of all, when one goes through the adolescent years, they face some hormonal imbalance which causes pimples at that time. Similarly when a woman expects, she experiences a massive hormonal change and it results in acne.

So what can you do to keep the pimples during early pregnancy at bay or how to tackle them?

First of all, maximum cases of pimples and acne during pregnancy are usually mild and seldom become severe. So you may not even need to do anything as it will slowly stop on its own. But if the pimples become severe, then you need to consult your doctor and state that you are expecting. The main concern here is the fact that acne and pimple medications are external as well as internal pills and both can cause problems to your unborn child. Many harmless looking medicines and ointments may create birth defects so always check with the doctor and ask for his opinion.
Some tricks to heal acne/pimples in a natural and harmless way?
Acne and pimples on face during pregnancy can really drive people crazy and those with a history of acne will face this condition quite naturally. So if you are expecting and experiencing regular acne and pimple breakouts, here are some quick home remedies which are easy to use on a regular basis as well as safe for your baby:

  • Lemon is renowned for its natural pimple fighting ingredient and this is the reason why it is included in so many pimple reduction products. What you need to do is squeeze a freshly cut lemon halve and store the juice in an airtight sealed container. Apply it in the night before going to bed using a small tip. Apply the juice over every individual pimple. If you find raw lemon juice too strong, you can dilute it with water. Do not use lemon on the whole face as it will irritate your skin.  Use this technique twice or thrice a day and you will see a difference within one week.
  • Aloe Vera gel is a wonderful natural remedy which work wonders for a variety of skin as well as hair problems. Aloe Vera gel helps to reduce acne and pimples effectively.
  • Essential oils like lavender essential oil as well as tea tree oil works great to reduce acne and pimples.

Each person’s skin is different, so what works for many may not work for you. Do try all of the tricks to see what suits you the best. Also we suggest, you do not prick pimples, keep the skin clear and avoid touching your face too many times so that germs in your hands do not contact your face.

Hope these tips will help you. If you have any good tips for pregnant moms, then do share with us in the comment box.
If any queries or concerns, feel free to contact me! All the very best Chandni!
Until then, Stay Beautiful :)
